At The Buffalo Niagara Convention Center

Georg Riedel, CEO of Riedel Crystal of North America and 10th generation glassmaker joins us again for HWI’s signature fundraiser which supports the groundbreaking research being conducted dorenat the institute. At 6 p.m on Friday, October 24, 2014 at the pandolfiBuffalo Niagara Convention Center we will embark on a wine journey like you haven’t been on before, in addition to leaving with your own set of Riedel stemware.

Is it possible that the shape of a glass can actually make wine taste better? A little more than a decade ago, that notion would have been scoffed at, even by winemakers and connoisseurs. Twenty years ago, the Riedel name was largely unknown in the United States.

Today the Riedel glassmaking company is internationally known for being one of the finest crystal makers in the world and their company CEO will come to Buffalo for the sixth year to showcase their crystal and to raise funds for Hauptman-Woodward.

We are grateful to all who have supported the event in the past and hope you join us again for this signature event. Hauptman-Woodward is honored to have Emily Constantine Doren and Anthony Pandolfi as co-chairs for the 2014 Riedel Wine Glass Tasting Experience.
