Christopher G. Gibas, HWI Board Member, is the 2009 Chairman of the Hauptman Society. “I volunteer for HWI because of the importance our research plays in laying an accurate foundation for understanding how the body works,” says Gibas. “We need to know that before we can understand how the body reacts to disease and how to design drugs to stop or inhibit those reactions.” The Hauptman-Woodward Institute
is proud to be the recipient of your gifts, and HWI scientists work
diligently to contribute to the knowledge that will find the cures
for the diseases that plague our friends and families. For
more information on becoming a member, contact Laurie Elliott Krajna
at 898-8597.
