At the Hauptman-Woodward Medical Research Institute, we are excited about science — and we enjoy sharing this excitement with others. We strive to promote a greater understanding and appreciation of science among the general public and to educate the young scientists of the future.

By providing opportunities for both high school and college students to work with professional scientists on challenging projects, we encourage them to pursue careers in the sciences and to become part of the next generation of biomedical researchers. Our new state-of-the-art facility, completed in 2005, gives us room to grow and to recruit new talent to Western New York.
