2011 is the 38th Year of our summer intern program. This year we have 14 students, of which 5 are returning for a third year. They come from a variety of colleges and universities, both local - Canisius - and afar – Univ of Tulsa, Yale, U Rochester, MIT, U Penn, Colgate, U Md, Baltimore County, Wake Forest, UNC at Chapel Hill, Duqusne and Hobert and Wm Smith. The students come for 10 to 14 weeks, work with one mentor and his/her research group on a project. For many it is to test to see if biomedical research is their passion in life.
