The building, designed by world-renowned architect Mehrdad Yazdani of Cannon Design, centers on the principle of scientific collaboration. It is separated into two main components, our research labs located at the north end of the building and our office and support facilities located at the south end of the building. These two components are linked together by a glass covered atrium increasing visibility and interaction amongst the scientists in the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus and allowing visitors to view the scientific working environment.
