This workshop is for developers of crystallographic software who are interested in adapting their applications to read or write Crystallographic Information File (CIF) data sets. There will be a special emphasis on adapting applications to DDL2 and macromolecular CIF (mmCIF). The workshop will begin with a series of short talks by: David Argentar, Herbert Bernstein, Phil Bourne, Steve Bryant, Pat Edgington, Paula Fitzgerald, Andy Hammersley, Peter Keller, Brian McMahon, Otto Ritter, Roger Sayle, Brian Toby, and John Westbrook. These presentations will be followed by a moderated discussion of mmCIF software development and integration issues. Specific program details and materials contributed to the workshop will be available at http://ndbserver.rutgers.edu/aca_cif_workshop.
